If my project is funded, my classroom library will be more exciting and refreshed with books that are geared to multiple genres and interest levels. My students read every day, and they've exhausted all my good books. They are struggling learners, and haven't yet found many books that interest them. I think this project will allow them to see themselves in the multicultural and diverse selections I have researched. This project will allow me to provide them a library, right now in my classroom, of books I can recommend and am familiar with. The independent reading will be even more independent this way.
