Because of your support, this cozy corner has quickly become the most beloved spot in the room—students beg to sit in it every period, and books are being checked out at a fast pace.\r\n\r\nThe Book Nook has also become a calming space for students who are dysregulated, allowing them to refocus and work productively in a way that isn't always possible at their desks. During our Silent Reading Wednesdays, classes look forward to taking turns in the nook, and the rotation has become a highlight of their week.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has inspired new and engaging activities, such as our Musical Books lesson, where students rotated among titles from the nook and wrote reviews. Afterward, they raced to the sign-out sheet to check out books that sparked their interest.
