My classroom goes through expo markers very quickly since we are a Building Thinking Classroom and use them frequently on vertical white boards. We also use Expo Markers for quick formative assessments on individual white boards, and with over 160 students every year, they go pretty quick. Research shows students are more willing to take risks when they are writing on a non permanent surface, so expo markers are a must in the classroom,\r\n\r\nAlso, thank you for the laminator cards-it has helped me prolong classroom materials and not having to make them year after year. It is such a time savor and my time can be spent on planning better lessons. It might sound like something small, but having this necessary item in the room has helped with students having to leave the classroom to go to the bathroom to blow their nose. They come from other classes because they know that we have Kleenex. We discussed the character development, their choices and the consequences of their actions.
