I am teaching high school sophomores, and my district has cracked way down on cell phone usage. It's been a joy to see kids interact with each other when they finish work early instead of staring at screens. \r\n\r\nThis Friday, I gave students a work day to finish a creative project, and I just set the Kanoodles out and didn't say anything. One of my varsity football players picked one up, and I said, \"Go for it! They're so fun!\" Pretty soon, all the Kanoodles had been taken and kids were shouting their frustrations with the difficulty, and then shouting their celebrations when they got the correct solution.\r\n\r\nI am so happy to have these puzzle games in my classroom, and I know my students are happy too!
