I previously taught some of these high school students when they were in my middle school Culinary Exploration class and they were so excited to see new equipment this year as I revamped the course for high school credit. They loved getting to use the induction burners recently and taking on more responsibility. They worked together to make a map of the room to help them remember where all the equipment is stored so they can be more independent in class.\r\n\r\nWe have lots of new recipes planned this year now that we have new materials to use and my students cannot wait to dive in. We will be conducting food experiments as well as cooking/baking lots of different things while we learn about the culinary world.
