The goal of this project was to recognize every student's birthday by announcing it on the morning announcements and providing them with a small treat. It is one way to show students that we are aware of them and we care about them.\r\n\r\nSince the beginning of the school year, we have recognized over 500 student birthdays. Students are excited to hear their name on the announcements. While they're walking down to get their treat, staff are wishing them a happy birthday and engaging with the students in a way that might not normally be able to. Students really love picking out their treat, especially the snacks! \r\n\r\nThe students are excited and appreciative of their treats. It really helps our school feel like a community. We would not have been able to make this happen without your generous support.
