Through our ClassBank, students have been able to practice real-world financial literacy in a fun and meaningful way. They earn classroom money through classroom jobs, make decisions about saving and spending, and have opportunities to use their earnings for rewards and auction items. What might otherwise be abstract concepts have become experiences they can see, understand, and apply every day.\r\n The materials and resources provided have allowed me to create a classroom economy that teaches so much more than money. My students have learned responsibility, goal-setting, patience, decision-making, and the value of contributing to our classroom community. They take pride in their classroom jobs and become excited about setting goals and saving for something they really want. The auction items and rewards give them an authentic reason to make thoughtful choices and work toward their goals.\r\n I am incredibly grateful to the Bezos Family Foundation and to all of the generous donors who made this project possible. Their contributions have allowed me to provide experiences and opportunities that I could not have created on my own. Because of their generosity, my students are not only learning about financial literacy—they are actually experiencing it.\r\n Thank you for investing in my students and in their future. Your support has helped me create a classroom where learning is engaging, purposeful, and connected to skills my students can carry with them far beyond the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1779819274759,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-economy-math-money-and-moti/10275785/","projectTitle":"Classroom Economy: Math, Money, and Motivation","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. L.
