I've worked with students to take all of their loose papers out of their backpacks and put the papers in folders. We have had a lot of fun with the dictionaries - 14 different styles! Students selected a book from all of the choices to study in detail. Some students made vocabulary cards and quizzed each other. Even students from other classes have come to borrow them. Rather than sitting around scrolling on their phones, the students engage with each other and work through the puzzles.\r\n\r\nAlthough, this has not been a perfect transition, it has been an invaluable tool.
