As a Title I-funded school, many of our students have limited access to STEM resources and hands-on learning opportunities outside of the classroom. Having these materials available at school allows every student, regardless of their background or circumstances, to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in engaging and meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nThese resources are helping our students become active participants in their learning. Rather than simply reading about scientific concepts, students are able to build, create, experiment, problem-solve, and learn from their experiences. The hands-on nature of STEM activities encourages curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and perseverance. Students are developing not only academic skills, but also the confidence to ask questions, try new ideas, and understand that mistakes are an important part of the learning process.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these STEM materials are helping us provide our students with opportunities they deserve. They are sparking a love of discovery and exploration while helping students see themselves as scientists, engineers, inventors, and problem-solvers.
