Because of your kindness and willingness to invest in education, my project has become a reality. Your donations provided essential items including tissues, books, storage bins, sensory toys, and fidget spinners—resources that make a meaningful difference in my students' daily learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe tissues from the project may seem like a small item, but in a busy classroom they are used every single day. Having a steady supply helps keep our students comfortable and healthy, especially during cold and allergy seasons. It also ensures that students can focus on learning without worrying about basic needs.\r\n\r\nThe books purchased are already sparking excitement and curiosity among my students. Reading opens doors to imagination, knowledge, and new perspectives. With these new titles available, students have more opportunities to explore stories, practice literacy skills, and develop a lifelong love of reading. Watching them eagerly pick up a book and share their thoughts with classmates is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.\r\n\r\nThe storage bins have helped us organize our classroom materials in a way that makes learning smoother and more accessible. A well-organized classroom allows students to take responsibility for materials and helps them transition more easily between activities. The bins make it simple for students to find what they need and return items when they are finished.\r\n\r\nThe sensory toys and fidget spinners are especially valuable tools for many of my students. These items help support focus, self-regulation, and calmness during lessons and independent work time. Some students learn best when they can move or keep their hands busy, and these tools allow them to channel that energy in a positive way while staying engaged with learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity does more than supply materials—it shows students that there are people beyond our classroom who care deeply about their success. Knowing that others believe in them helps build confidence and motivation. It reminds them that their education matters and that they are supported by a community of people who want to see them thrive.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students and myself, thank you for believing in our classroom and helping us create a supportive, engaging learning environment. Your contribution will impact my students not just today, but throughout the school year as they read, learn, grow, and develop new skills.\r\n\r\nI am truly thankful for your generosity and for making a difference in the lives of my students.","fullyFundedDate":1771023885072,"projectUrl":"project/books-to-read-fidgets-to-focus-and-bin/9934247/","projectTitle":"Books to Read, Fidgets to Focus, and Bins to Organize","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Correa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8492165_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1654655539810","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8492165"},{"teacherId":10248111,"projectId":9697007,"letterContent":"We can't thank you enough for your donations towards this project. Within a week our project was fully funded and then three days later the products were at our school. We put them to use right away. \r\n Our students have seen me use one of the all in one phonics kits that our school had already purchased. They thought it was the coolest thing. They were having to use cookie sheets with magnets and they were very big and bulky. A lot of the letters fell off and got lost too. Once I gave them the good news about our project being funded, they couldn't wait to use them!\r\n The kits are used daily during small group intervention. We use a reading program called UFLI, (University of Florida Institute), which is a research-based, evidence-driven approach to teaching reading and spelling. One of the components of this program is word building, where students manipulate letter tiles to create words. They also practice spelling them. The phonics kits work perfectly for this. The students call them their work briefcases. They love using them and all the pieces are kept safe inside the case!\r\n Again, thank you for helping out our future readers! Your donation has truly brightened both our learning space and our students' spirits. The classroom light has created a warm and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable and focused. The snacks have made a big difference in keeping them energized and ready to learn throughout the day, especially for those who come to school without breakfast. Your kindness has helped meet not only academic needs but also basic ones that allow my students to thrive.\r\nThe supplies you provided have also had an incredible impact. The new book has sparked excitement for reading and has quickly become a classroom favorite.
