This year, my students are going to focus on choosing books that interest them in order to help them become better readers. Currently, my classroom library has books that they enjoy reading, but as they are reading through the books, they are asking for different titles and challenging books. In order for them to grow as readers, they need to be able to choose books that interest them and that will make them excited to read! I want my students to be excited about reading and by having an increased selection of books in our classroom library, my students will be excited to come to school and read!
