My students were so excited to respond and participate in whole group lessons using the newly donated writing paddle boards. I could see how happy they were to engage and share their written responses in this new way. We even used them to answer questions in our classroom games activities. My students have a blast every time they use them. \r\n I would like to thank you for the calm down activity items that were donated. The students that I teach struggle to control their emotions and using various item to help them remain calm is huge in my room. There was a lot of smiling, laughing, and even a few cheers! The stools have quickly become a favorite classroom tool—not only because they're practical, but because they make learning feel more organized and accessible for everyone.\r\n\r\nWe now use the stools daily during small group instruction, and the change has been incredible. Transition times are shorter and smoother, and we're gaining back valuable minutes that we can spend focused on learning. The stools also allow me to include more students at my table, which means more opportunities for collaborative learning and differentiated support. \r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, we've created a more efficient and welcoming small group space. As we move forward, we'll continue using the stools to support reading and math groups, as well as English language development. My students enjoy using the soft chairs to work and create at our circle table. They were excited to see the new chairs and liked having flexible seating choices to choose from. They have been able to use the new seating, to work on computers, build with manipulatives, complete independent work and collaborate on projects. \r\n The softness of the seats has been beneficial when students struggle to regulate their emotions and want to bang on the furniture.
