Students come to our carpet for morning meeting, the focus lesson for each subject and at the end of the day before dismissing. It serves as a place to hold our morning meetings where we build our classroom community. It gives students their own spot to sit during a lesson to focus and engage, while also offering them opportunities to collaborate or share with a peer. Students also use this space for activities and team building. It such an important part of our classroom and used all throughout the day!
