Donations may sometimes seem like small additions to a classroom, but to my students, they can make a tremendous difference. Every item donated has helped create a classroom where students feel supported, motivated, and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nOne of the things my students have especially enjoyed is the candy and classroom prizes. While candy or a small prize might seem simple, they have become powerful tools for encouragement and celebration. Whether it is recognizing a student who has worked especially hard, rewarding someone who has shown kindness, or celebrating an accomplishment, these prizes give students something tangible to remind them that their effort matters. Sometimes, a piece of candy or a small classroom reward is just the little extra motivation a student needs to keep going when an assignment feels difficult. More importantly, these rewards help create moments of excitement and joy in our classroom.\r\n\r\nI am also incredibly grateful for the portable DVD player. Having access to this technology has opened up learning opportunities that my students otherwise would not have experienced. Videos can bring history, science, literature, and other subjects to life in ways that a textbook or lecture simply cannot. The ability to show educational videos and other materials has allowed students to see places, people, events, and ideas that might otherwise remain abstract or completely unfamiliar to them. For some students, seeing something firsthand through video can be the moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. Your donation has helped make those experiences possible.\r\n\r\nAnother donation that has made a surprisingly meaningful difference is the black felt-tip pens. These may sound like a simple classroom supply, but they have become an important part of how my students present their work. Sixth graders care deeply about how their finished work looks, and having quality pens allows them to add clean lines, details, labels, and final touches that make their projects feel polished and professional. There is something incredibly rewarding about watching a student take a piece of work they have spent time creating and proudly put those final touches on it. The black felt-tip pens help transform student work from something they simply completed into something they are genuinely proud to display.\r\n\r\nUltimately, your donations do more than provide supplies, prizes, or technology. They communicate something much more important to my students: people believe in you, your education matters, and you are worth investing in.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, there is no greater gift than being able to provide students with opportunities, experiences, and resources that make learning more engaging and meaningful. Your generosity helps me do that every day.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my classroom, my teaching, and—most importantly—my students. Your kindness has made a real difference, and I am incredibly grateful to have such generous people supporting our classroom community.\r\n\r\nWith sincere appreciation,\r\n\r\nThank you for helping my students learn, create, celebrate, and grow.","fullyFundedDate":1785667619815,"projectUrl":"project/back-in-session/10418268/","projectTitle":"Back in Session","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Youngberg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2445307_orig.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1621270027026","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mryoungberg"},{"teacherId":2445307,"projectId":10138761,"letterContent":"Thank you for the lovely donation of delicious and nutritious snacks.
