Because of your generosity, we have been able to bring the beauty of the harp to our school orchestra, giving multiple students the opportunity to explore harp performance. One particularly dedicated student was took the harpsicle home last spring, allowing him to practice and grow his skills beyond the classroom for free. His enthusiasm was so contagious that his family invested in a full-size lever harp and enrolled him in private lessons—an inspiring example of how access to an instrument can spark a lifelong passion for music.\r\n\r\nThe harpsicle continues to play a vital tool in our program. Its portability has enabled our harpist to participate in outdoor performances where it would be unsafe to take the larger fullsize harp. Last spring, our harpist joined the rest of the orchestra in the football stadium to play the national anthem before the Special Olympics—an opportunity that wouldn't have been possible with a full-size harp.\r\n\r\nThis summer, harpsicle will introduce more new students to the instrument, at our summer music camp, where we'll be offering a \"Harp Bootcamp\" for aspiring harpists. \r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, our students continue to experience the joy of making music, and our orchestra remains an inclusive space where every instrument, and every student, has a place.
