Every student who has a love for science either wants to make something explode or be able to dissect a specimen. The dissection of a frog is an excellent opportunity to introduce students to organs of the body, organ systems and the purpose of these systems. This hands on lab is also an excellent introduction to higher level academic science courses such as high school Biology and Anatomy. With the use of scissors, dissecting needles and forceps students will be able to identify various organs and perform a comparative analysis of the organs of a frog to those of a human. Without this opportunity some students may never know how body organs and systems operate!
