During literacy and math centers, students can choose them to help stay engaged, and I've noticed that those who usually struggle to remain seated can now focus for much longer.\r\n\r\nTheir reaction when they first saw the stools were \"what are those?\". They were genuinely excited for a new seating option. The students walked in with huge smiles, excitedly pointing out which table with stools they wanted to try first. Many of them kept saying, \"This is so cool!\" and \"We get to use these?!\" That excitement hasn't faded; every day, they continue to treat the flexible seating options as something special.
