Because of your generosity, we were able to purchase new books for our Classics section. Before receiving the materials from this project, the circulation of books in this section was very low. Many of our copies were outdated and in poor condition. This section now appears bright, colorful, and inviting to students. Circulation from this section has increased, and students have engaged with these novels in new and exciting ways. \r\n\r\nAnother important component of this project was adding graphic novel versions of classic novels to our collection. Many students can find classic literature intimidating. By adding graphic novel adaptations of books like The Odyssey or The Great Gatsby, students can access and understand these famous works in a new way. The picture supports help bring the stories to life for students who may have previously struggled to understand the plot. These editions are particularly helpful for students with disabilities and for English Language Learners. \r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our Classics section has once again become a place that is exciting for students.
