We've incorporated them into our weekly learning sessions, and they've become a central part of our current unit. Specific projects we're working on is a game based financial exploration where students are using the new games and kits to investigate all of the facets of financial health and well being.\r\nTheir excitement was unforgettable! When we unboxed the materials, there were gasps and claps all around. Many students couldn't believe the items were \"just for us!\" One student said, \"This feels like Christmas!!\" It was such a joyful and proud moment.They were so happy that we could learn financial and money management through games. \r\nRight now, we're preparing for a financial project where they'll choose a profession; they will be assigned a salary; they can choose housing, utilities, car. . . Then they will be given \"wrenches\" in their budgets, like a broken water pipe. They will then have to share their progress with the class.
