My students are my passion! I work with a mix of seventh and eighth graders who will continue on to high school next year. We are a "looping" middle school, having our students for two years, working on skills and values to take them into their high school career. We have approximately 500 students enrolled, with 135 of them being in the middle grades. We have a large number of students at or below the poverty level in our community and we are a school that utilizes the free and reduced lunch programs. Many of our students do not have the financial resources to have adequate learning materials available not the resources to aid in their education. Having materials available to them at school, and home is a beneficial aspect of education.
