My students loved opening the new boxes and building their career sets. These materials weren't just for one day, but they continue to ask for Duplo time.\r\n\r\nOur career day started with imagining our careers, and writing what we want to be when we grow up. We dressed up to match a career we chose and built a duplo set related to what we wanted to be.\r\n\r\nEach career was explored with questions for deeper connection thanks to the details of each set. We could talk about tools of the trade or proper clothing to wear. Also, about training or special schools to go to when we are older.\r\n\r\nIt was the 1st annual career day, but we build from here for better next time.
