One specific area that my students felt they wanted to understand better was fractions. I'm asking for fraction manipulatives to help us understand that unit of math better. They came into 4th grade not understanding fractions very well. I know that this is a result of COVID. My students love to learn. They have a desire to go as fast as possible and learn as much as they can. I've found that the thing that slows us down the most is not having the resources on hand to do the things we want to do. A well organized classroom runs more efficiently and we are able to pack more learning into the day. It leaves more time for hands on experiences that leave a lasting impression. This is why I'm also asking for classroom basics like whiteboards, markers, cardstock, etc. I have two different classes that use the same desks each day. I really need bins in their desks to help them separate their supplies and papers and help them stay organized.
