We have literally been learning all over our classroom. When one of our items were listed out of stock we were absolutely thrilled to find a new vaccum for our classroom. We love being able to keep our learning spaces clean because we love to learn and work on the floor. \r\n One of our favorite activities to work on is our writing journal. What makes it fun is that it's not a book of writing. Instead it's a book that helps us to better understand Nouns, Verbs, adjective and tips on how to be better writers. We've created a figurative toolbox that can be used in any class. \r\n We are moving into our last unit of the year and are beyond excited to learn about The American Revolution, the battles fought and won, the Shot heard round the world, the Boston Tea Party and Boston Massacre. \r\n We love learning and accessing resources both tangibly and digitally. They also helped me hang them up on a string lined across the room . We read the book called Chinese New Year and learned about the different traditions done during this time. My students also tried to use chopsticks with the help of the chopstick helper. Some were ambitious enough to try them without as well. \r\n\r\nMy favorite part was when I was teaching them about the red envelope. We learned about how they should accept them and when and where to open them. My students were so cute. As I handed them their individual red envelope, they humbly bowed and said \"xie xie\". They all found a spot in the room to open their envelopes in \"private\". That melted my heart .
