Your gift is making it possible for my students to experience the exciting challenge of running a business—right here in our classroom!\r\nWith your support, we created an interactive, hands-on business simulation where students work together to earn classroom \"money\" for demonstrating good work, teamwork, class chores and positive behavior. Using the play money sets you've funded; students have the opportunity to \"purchase\" classroom items while practicing customer service skills.\r\nAll of the business classes have the chance to participate but the accounting students get to record all earnings and expenditures and see how the accounting process works. They write receipts, track every transaction, and apply real accounting principles to calculate totals and, ultimately, determine their profit.
