These books will go to my classroom library, and the art supplies will be used to make our literature come alive. For instance, we will use the modeling clay to create a "Mead Hall" referenced in the epic Beowulf and the blocks to create a model of East Egg and West Egg from The Great Gatsby. The art papers will be used to create art journals for a Shakespeare play. My students are craving tactile projects after a year of online learning and these resources will provide them with exactly that.
