Of course, we had to take a day to just explore and play and with them before we got down to business!\r\nTeaching 3-D shapes on a 2-D paper is not an ideal learning activity for Kindergarteners. 3-D shapes are already super challenging for kids to learn, and having these little wooden shapes in their hands has made the unit so much more fun and effective. The kids are actually excelling for the first time since I've taught this unit!\r\nThank you for the lowercase letter magnets as well!
