As a speech-language pathologist, I work with very young children who are just beginning to use words, sounds, and gestures to communicate. The materials you helped provide allow us to turn joyful play moments into powerful language-learning experiences.\r\n\r\nOne of my students recently picked up the magnetic community helper cars and excitedly began naming the vehicles while driving them across the table. Moments like this create natural opportunities to model new vocabulary, practice turn-taking, and encourage longer phrases. During book time, favorites like Dear Zoo and Peekaboo: Moon help my students practice pointing, requesting, and commenting as we read together.\r\n\r\nThe alphabet sounds tubs and mirror are also wonderful tools for helping students explore speech sounds while watching how their mouths move. Through these playful activities, my students are building the confidence and communication skills they need for future learning.
