Your donation has given my students opportunities to learn in ways that go far beyond a textbook or worksheet. When they first saw our new materials, there was an immediate sense of curiosity and excitement. They wanted to know what everything was, how it worked, and—most importantly—when they were going to get to use it! Your generosity has allowed my students to explore, question, build, test, and discover ideas for themselves, creating a classroom where they are eager to investigate and solve problems.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the new resources throughout our hands-on science learning. One of my favorite moments was when I introduced our new water cycle model. Students immediately began guessing what it could be used for and predicting how it worked. Rather than simply being told the answer, they were able to experience the concept for themselves. I watched them work together, make predictions, test their ideas, and revise their thinking. These are the moments that remind me why hands-on learning is so valuable and why providing students with opportunities to learn through exploration makes such a difference.\r\n\r\nOur learning will continue throughout the school year. Students are currently watching their own seeds grow in our hydroponics system without soil, giving them the opportunity to see—and eventually taste—the growing cycle in a way they may not have predicted. They will also observe the decomposition of matter in our compost bins throughout the year. I am excited to see where their questions and discoveries lead them because some of the best learning happens when students begin asking questions I didn't anticipate. Thank you for investing in my students and their education. Your generosity has provided much more than classroom supplies; it has provided experiences that help students see themselves as scientists, problem-solvers, and lifelong learners. I am incredibly grateful that you have helped make these experiences possible.","fullyFundedDate":1782148330634,"projectUrl":"project/from-seeds-to-systems-bringing-science/10190555/","projectTitle":"From Seeds to Systems: Bringing Science Alive in 5th Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Roundy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8323813"},{"teacherId":7830414,"projectId":9889917,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom project.
