Having class sets of our Battle of the Books Titles in my classroom will give all children in my class opportunities to have quality literature right in their hands. There is something magical about holding an actual book in your hands and physically turning each page as you read. I want to have enough books in my classroom that each child can have this experience while reading and/or following along as I read aloud. I can assure you that these books will be used almost daily by students who come from loving families, who may not be able to be afford to be able to provide quality books in their own homes.

About my class
