Your support has truly transformed our learning environment. Before your contribution, our classroom's collection of books was not able to be stored in the classroom. Now, thanks to you, we have beautiful, sturdy bookcases that not only organize our space but have created an inviting and dedicated reading nook that the students gravitate toward every day.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your gift was immediately multiplied in the most wonderful way. Because our books are now properly housed and proudly displayed, we were able to house my library of 1,000 new books. This incredible influx of literature has allowed us to diversify our genres, include more multicultural texts, and provide a much wider range of reading levels to meet every student exactly where they are. I now have the profound joy of watching my students eagerly explore the shelves, their excitement palpable as they find stories that captivate their imaginations and expand their worlds. Your donation did more than just buy shelves; it unlocked access to a vast world of reading for every child in this class and every class to come.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and their future. Your belief in the power of literacy and a well-equipped classroom has fostered a tangible love of reading and has given these young learners the tools they need to succeed. We are all so grateful for your kindness and support.","fullyFundedDate":1755739971849,"projectUrl":"project/shelving-our-classroom-library/9606889/","projectTitle":"Shelving our Classroom Library","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Chai","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8679063"},{"teacherId":9829126,"projectId":9177789,"letterContent":"When the students saw the fresh supplies, their eyes lit up. I heard one student whisper, \"We're rich!\"—which made us all laugh. They were especially excited about the new dry erase markers; it might sound small, but having markers that actually work has made our math lessons and spelling reviews way more fun and efficient. No more digging through bins hoping for one that hasn't dried out!\r\n\r\nWe're currently working on our end-of-year memory books, and your donation came at the perfect time. The students are drafting their favorite moments, reflecting on their growth, and helping one another edit using the pencils and erasers you sent. These small tools are helping them express big memories.\r\n\r\nYour support gave my students a reminder that people beyond our classroom believe in them—and that's something really special. It keeps our classroom much quieter too!\r\n\r\nMy students liked that the new headphones have the speaker for the audio on the cord. They are able to speak clearly into their Chromebooks to record their answers to assignments on Padlet and other programs we use in class. Some of my students who struggle with writing are able to use the headphones to help them get their ideas down in ways they never would have been able to if they had to try to write them on paper.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping my students to be more engaged in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1735840741826,"projectUrl":"project/learning-through-speaking-and-listening/9012941/","projectTitle":"Learning through Speaking and Listening","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kempe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2422245_orig.jpg?crop=320,320,x0,y9&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1734582743734","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2422245"},{"teacherId":9829126,"projectId":8927829,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation of headphones to my classroom. These headphones are making a tremendous impact on my students' learning experiences every single day.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, technology plays a crucial role in personalized learning. Most of my students are working two grade levels below in key subjects, so they need targeted, individualized lessons to help close this gap. The headphones allow each student to fully engage in these customized online lessons without being distracted by surrounding noise. This focused environment is essential for their progress, especially since my ability to provide one-on-one support is limited in a busy classroom setting.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects of these new headphones is the level of engagement they inspire. My students are genuinely excited to use them, knowing they can dive into interactive lessons tailored to their needs. The headphones help them feel more immersed in their learning experiences, increasing their focus and motivation. It's incredible to see their enthusiasm grow!\r\n\r\nThese headphones have been especially impactful for my multilingual students, including three newcomers to the country who are learning English. The language support provided through online resources is invaluable, helping them build confidence and understanding at their own pace. One student, in particular, has shown remarkable progress in language comprehension since using the headphones. It's heartwarming to witness their growing confidence and eagerness to participate in classroom discussions.\r\n\r\nIn my classroom, I am deeply committed to helping my students meet their pathway of progress goals and reach benchmark by the end of the year. Your generous support has brought us one step closer to achieving these goals. I am beyond grateful for your kindness and investment in my students' futures.","fullyFundedDate":1734099430391,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-for-focused-learning-in-a-tit/8927829/","projectTitle":"Headphones for Focused Learning in a Title I Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Shelby","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9829126_orig.png?crop=330,330,x0,y39&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741664538101","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9829126"},{"teacherId":6717785,"projectId":8753916,"letterContent":"My class and I can't thank you enough for donating! These headphones have been game changers for us already this school year. My students are actually able to hear their individualized lessons on their chromebooks, and I am able to have more peaceful one-on-one teaching moments with students as the class works. These headphones are much more sturdy than the district provided ones and we have had zero casualties so far.\r\n\r\nMy students are most excited to get to use their headphones when they earn free time on their chromebooks. They love to look up books and educational videos, and the headphones make it seamless for them to each focus on their topic of choice. The sturdy reusable baggies we also purchased to store the headphones have been so nice for organization. The students can better manage their headphones independently than with plastic bags with zippers that break constantly, which we've used in the past.","fullyFundedDate":1726939178583,"projectUrl":"project/listening-and-learning/8753916/","projectTitle":"Listening and Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Andie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6717785_orig.jpg?crop=1080,1080,x0,y129&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1569894352509","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6717785"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_33166","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":603,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":82,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":46,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":32,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":65.5,"schoolId":33166,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Woodrow Wilson School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Woodrow Wilson School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/granite-school-district/woodrow-wilson-school/33166"}
