Our students need all their holes and gaps filled before they go to higher grades and make those gaps and holes bigger. My goal this year is to have individual goals with a clear path for them how to grow and fill those gaps. I have used the color paper to individualize their practice folders based on the skills they need the very most. \r\n\r\nThe parents have been so grateful for clear, actionable goals that they can actually help their children and see their progress. We feel that by having these mastery goals set that the performance goals will be met in return. I am so thankful for the extra paper and folders to help keep this organized and manageable and help students keep progressing individually. I have other teachers ask how I am able to organize materials and fill the gaps so well. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping me do my job with such limited resources. All students have individual needs and with that they face so many distractions in the classroom. These noise canceling headphones have been a game changer in my class. It has helped minimize distractions as well as boost productivity to get individual education online. I have also seen more enjoyment from my students in using these headphones. \r\n\r\nWith 40 percent of my class being language learners new to English, we have also been so glad to have headphones with microphones. We have seen an improvement in the amount the kids are able to talk each day as they do their specialized language learning lessons they are able to practice speaking in English as well. \r\n\r\nYour donation also helped fun specialized seating with wiggle seats and fidget bands at their desk. This has helped improve focus from all students especially those who struggle from sitting still and helping them focus on what is really important which is learning. It really does make a huge difference in how my classroom is run and how motivated the kids are to try new things. Now my students can feel comfortable, cared for, and are more prepared to learn. My students loved seeing all the boxes come in and they were so excited. They could tell that even though the donors don't know them, they are cared for by others as well. \r\n\r\nThese donations have also helped me be a better teacher as well. Now I can easily present different fun science hands-on projects to my students. I have games from my childhood that I can share with my students and help them to have fun things to do, so they aren't on the streets getting into trouble. Our area is highly gang populated so all of these things matter a lot. It also helps because the students feel cared for and loved and so school is not a bad place, it is a safe and fun place for them to get to know the world better.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your very generous donations. I can't even put into words how much this means to my students and I. These are going to help my class stay motivated and comfortable all year long. Thank you for thinking of us and donating. When my students saw all the packages coming in on a dolly they were so excited to open them up and see the new and exciting things. The most exciting things for the kids were the bean bag chairs! I let my students use dojo points to \"buy\" the ability to sit in a comfy chair on Fridays and I can tell that they have been working harder to earn those points. \r\n\r\nThese items are so helpful in my classroom and I cannot even begin to tell you how much of a difference they make. The tissues help my students when they are sick to not get scratchy noses and that helps them stay more comfortable. The fidgets help the students when they get anxiety and need a fidget to help distract them. The reward prizes help them all year long with improving their behavior in order for them to earn those cool prizes. Some of the bigger prizes are saved for the end of the year to keep them motivated right up until the end!\r\n\r\nThank you again so much. We cannot thank you enough! The supplies have been delivered and we've been using them for about a week. \r\n\r\nThe cushions have helped us so much. The students have a safe and quiet way to move their bodies while they are learning. It has cut down on our class interruptions because they are able to focus so much more. The impact of this has been huge, even in the short while that we have been using them. \r\n\r\nThe Yoto stories have been so engaging for my students. They love listening to stories on the Yoto.
