These science supplies have allowed my students to do much more than simply read about a concept. They have been able to experiment, build, test their ideas, and make changes when something does not work the first time. During our force and motion unit, students have used the materials to investigate how objects move and look for patterns in motion. One of their favorite activities was learning how a trapeze moves and then experimenting with creating their own. Some designs worked right away, while others needed some problem-solving and adjustments, which led to some wonderful scientific conversations.\r\n\r\nMy students get incredibly excited when they realize it is a science experiment day! These materials have helped make science something they can actually touch, explore, and figure out for themselves.
