Your support has made a lasting impact, and I am incredibly grateful for your kindness and belief in our learners.\r\n\r\nHandwriting is an essential skill, but for many students in special education, it can also be one of the most challenging. Writing requires coordination of fine motor skills, visual processing, letter formation, attention, and confidence — all at the same time. For some of my students, even holding a pencil appropriately or forming a single letter can feel overwhelming. Because of you, we now have the tools to make handwriting more accessible, engaging, and successful for every student.\r\n\r\nThe Handwriting Without Tears program is designed in a way that truly meets the needs of diverse learners. The materials are multisensory, structured, and developmentally appropriate, which is exactly what our students need. With these new resources, students are able to practice letter formation through hands-on activities that build muscle memory and strengthen fine motor skills. Instead of handwriting feeling frustrating, it becomes something students can approach with confidence and pride.\r\n\r\nAlready, I am seeing students more motivated to participate in writing activities. They are excited to use the new materials and are gaining independence as they practice. These tools allow us to break writing down into manageable steps, celebrate small successes, and build strong foundations for future learning.\r\n\r\nHandwriting is about so much more than putting pencil to paper. It connects to communication, academic growth, and self-expression. When students are able to write their name, form letters clearly, or complete a simple sentence, it boosts their confidence in powerful ways. Your donation is helping students develop not only writing skills, but also perseverance and a belief in themselves as learners.\r\n\r\nThe materials you provided will be used daily in our classroom for years to come. They will support individual goals, occupational therapy strategies, and classroom instruction. Most importantly, they will help students feel successful in an area that can often be difficult.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping create a classroom environment where every child has the support and resources they need to thrive. Your generosity reminds us that there are people out there cheering for our students and celebrating their growth. We are so grateful for you and for the difference you have made.","fullyFundedDate":1760547855598,"projectUrl":"project/no-fears-handwriting-without-tears/9719837/","projectTitle":"No, Fears- Handwriting Without Tears","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stratton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2203825_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1453688026095","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2203825"},{"teacherId":10179839,"projectId":9601419,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your kind contribution to my classroom!
