It has been so helpful for students to have these. It makes the process of designing digitally so much more natural and intuitive. The students are able to design without all the hurdles that seem almost unsurmountable for some students. \r\n\r\nFor years, I have tried to find a way to help students be able to draw on the computer more like they have learned to do traditionally with pencil and paper. I've used Wacom tablets in the past, but drawing on the tablet while look away from it to the computer screen was challenging to get used to for many students. There was also a lot of set up to get things working correctly. With proper seating now available at lab stations students are able to focus more on the material and participate more fully in experiments and collaborative work.\r\n\r\nSince the stools arrived students have been using them daily during labs, group projects, and class discussions. The flexibility to sit or stand during experiments has enhanced both safety and efficiency. Students were generally excited when the schools were first brought in many commented that the classroom now feels more like a real lab and express appreciation for the improved comfort this simple yet meaningful upgrade has made.
