By choosing soft seating and flexible seating, students will be able to learn in a more appealing environment. Students learn best when able to get comfortable in their surroundings, and these chairs and stools will do just that. Updating our Brave Library with new seating will increase library usage and engagement. Students will be able to move around our space and utilize the social atmosphere to their benefit. In aiming to be a safe, welcoming space, the current outdated seating counteracts our mission as a library: The Brave Library is a safe and social place to facilitate the discovery and ethical use of information through collaboration, accessibility, and involvement in our school. We exist to serve our school community by promoting literacy and learning.
