I can't believe how quickly you came together to fund this project. I am amazed at your kindness and generosity. \r\n\r\nSince our mallets came in, I have 12 useable pairs of yarn mallets and 15 useable pairs of rubber mallets. That is 27 students who can be playing instruments all at the same time! It was so fun the first day when I kept adding player after player until a whole class had mallets or an instrument in their hands.\r\n\r\nMy 2nd and 5th graders have already had a chance to use the mallets on some arrangements I wrote to accompany the music they are singing in class. They are even working on learning to play the song I wrote to help them remember our rules. Again, I appreciate your support of this project. The quiet of the students as I read to them while they draw, collage, and paint it lovely. I have several students who enjoy taking a break and looking through our art library and they in turn share it with others.
