Because many of our students come from low-income​ households and do not have access to technology at home, we want to make sure we use it effectively at school to help deepen their learning. Our district has been implementing and training its teachers on deep learning through the use of technology. We have learned about some amazing programs that can help our students have an even more enriching experience during small groups and center rotations such as Mastery Connect, Epic, Nearpod, and Lexia, and many more. The additional iPads would allow us to have the resources needed in both areas (small group and centers.) It has been shown that the use of technology in meaningful ways can greatly enhance student learning. We want to make sure the students have access to these incredible programs that will aid in their growth!
