We can no longer teach the way we use to teach. Using the collaboration stations allows my students to work in organized collaboration. They no longer have to scramble for mismatched markers, broken colored pencils and disorganized collaborations. The books will be used to teach students the dangers of unmitigated power and authority without morals. \r\nFor the past year, I have taught students The Crucible. I have watched as they walked through John and Elizabeth Proctor's lives and grew angry with lies of Abigail Williams. What they have seen is the real world connections that can be drawn from The Crucible. Your support has brought engaging and diverse books into our classroom, making a tangible difference in how my students interact with texts.\r\n\r\nIn our class, reading is more than just turning pages—it's an immersive experience. Students engage in discussions, analyze themes, make connections to their own lives, and practice critical thinking. These new books have introduced skills such as identifying literary devices, understanding character development, and drawing inferences. They have also provided opportunities for cultural exploration, allowing students to see themselves in literature while gaining insight into different experiences.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting transformations I've seen is in students who were previously reluctant readers. One student, who once struggled to find books that captured her interest, has now been eagerly recommending her favorite new titles to classmates. Another student, who is learning English as a second language, has found confidence in reading aloud, embracing stories that reflect his background and experiences.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my students are not only reading but truly engaging with literature in meaningful ways. It's hard to put into words how much of a difference your donations have made in our students' lives. The new books you've helped bring into our classroom have really taken our reading experience to the next level.\r\n\r\nYou may love reading, but you might not know how much goes into teaching books to kids. The new texts we have are so much more than just stories—they're tools that help our students grow in so many ways! The books introduce important skills like understanding characters, thinking critically about plot twists, and even spotting literary devices like metaphors and foreshadowing. These books also get students talking, sharing their ideas with each other, and learning how to listen and respond thoughtfully. We focus a lot on reading strategies like making predictions, asking questions, and connecting the stories to their own lives—all of which help them become better readers and thinkers.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading is a lively and interactive experience. The students each get some quiet time to read on their own, picking books that spark their interest. After that, we gather to discuss the books together. We share ideas, talk about the characters, and sometimes even act out scenes or draw pictures of what we're reading. It's amazing to see how much the kids enjoy this process, and how it helps them connect with the stories in a meaningful way.\r\n\r\nSome of the students have really taken to the new books in special ways. One student who's been hesitant about reading has suddenly fallen in love with a new series and can't stop talking about it! Another student who's a huge fan of fantasy books is totally immersed in stories about magical worlds. It's incredible to see how excited they are about reading and how these books have helped build their confidence.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, reading has become a fun adventure in our classroom, and our students are growing as readers and thinkers every day.
