I wanted to take a moment to thank you sincerely for your generous support. My role as the Special Education Teacher allows me to bring these resources to the students in a more controlled setting. Because of your donation, our classroom received new resources that have already made a meaningful difference in our students' learning experience. \r\n\r\nThe students are able to explore the many different added resources tailored to their learning style. For example, the tablets come in handy for students who are used to working on different apps pertaining to the subject being taught. I have students who are working on basic reading comprehension goals. I am able to put them on platforms that will focus on the goal based on their individualized reading level. This allows them to take control of their own learning while I focus on the others completing another task.\r\n\r\nAlso, the materials used in the calming center has provided a drastic improvement in those who feel comfortable being themselves without being over stimulated or feeling the need to escalate the situation further.
