They were jumping with anticipation when the boxes arrived and cheered as we opened each box.\r\n\r\nWe are all enjoying the new materials. We've been using the butterfly nets this spring to support our life cycle unit. In particular, the students have been running around trying to catch any and all bugs in our school field. The Unifix cubes and Base 10 blocks are absolutely a must for math instruction. They are bright, colorful and not beat up like our old set. The CVC phonics chart has been a real hit. My students are even playing with the letter sounds on their own. They were so excited when the box arrived. They cheered when they saw the spinner.\r\n\r\nMany of our students use spinning and twirling for stimming and self-regulation. The Dizzy Disc allows them to spin as fast or slow as they wish. I'll never understand how they do it without getting dizzy. We also use the spinning disc as reinforcement.
