We've been using the butterfly nets this spring to support our life cycle unit. In particular, the students have been running around trying to catch any and all bugs in our school field. The Unifix cubes and Base 10 blocks are absolutely a must for math instruction. They are bright, colorful and not beat up like our old set. The CVC phonics chart has been a real hit. My students are even playing with the letter sounds on their own. The Dizzy Disc allows them to spin as fast or slow as they wish. I'll never understand how they do it without getting dizzy. We also use the spinning disc as reinforcement.
