The project was a way that I could ensure that students were not distracted by the rumbling in their tummies. Your donation and gift was a blessing for each and everyone of my students. My students could focus on learning and putting their best foot forward, because they no longer had to focus on eating. In my class, the students were excited about the treats and snacks, so much so, that they felt comfortable with coming on their own to my classroom or office. My pictures paint a picture of how well the project worked. From one smile on a student's face to a once filled empty cabinet. We cannot even begin to thank you for all that you have done for my class and my students.","fullyFundedDate":1738796866391,"projectUrl":"project/new-year-same-hunger/9018711/","projectTitle":"New Year. I also wanted to ensure that the girls are able to have the personal items that they needed on hand. Usually, it is a hassle for young women to start their monthly especially in the school setting. This project made the items readily available for the ladies to where they did not have to take a long walk to the nurse or have to ask around and all of this accessible to them for no charge. I even had a student give me a testimonial on her experience. She came to school and it was one of those unexpected visits from Mother Nature. She was not prepared for it and with a jacket tied around her waist she was getting ready to take that long walk to the nurse until she realized that the restroom had all of the things that she needed to keep her fresh without interrupting her day with an accident. She was so thankful to have these items at her disposal. Her words just further let me know how much this impacted her and how much this is needed in every restroom to ensure that females are still given the privacy to take care of a not so exciting situation. Thank you is just not enough to show how appreciative we are of your contribution.","fullyFundedDate":1739819203688,"projectUrl":"project/dont-worry-about-that-time-of-the-mont/8906985/","projectTitle":"Don't Worry About \"That Time of the Month\"","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ashley Thomas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5644779_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1635897383803","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5644779"},{"teacherId":8031593,"projectId":8906447,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support for our STEM Night at the Circus. We had over 200 participants, and they all had a wonderful learning experience, thanks to your help with the supplies. \r\n\r\nIn the Techy area, students made spinning circuits, learning about how circuits work, while creating a fun, interactive toy. They also used the Spheros to learn how to code, guiding the robots to follow their coding path to visit the circus. In the Sciency area, they learned about force and motion by building catapults; combined baking powder and alcohol to make Elephant's Toothpaste; learned about light and shadows by building a circus train, and learned about water refraction by making animal images vanish! \r\n\r\nThe Buildy area had students using different building materials to create circus-themed builds, including a Lego station, a KEVA plank station, and a place to make circus images from different geometrical shapes. One of the evening's favorites was the Artsy area, where students made juggling balls out of balloons and used their origami skills to create a flying parrot. And all students got to leave with a book of STEM activities to do at home. \r\n\r\nOverall, the event was a success. We hope to be able to continue it for years to come. \r\nThank you again for your donation.","fullyFundedDate":1730726939038,"projectUrl":"project/come-one-come-all-to-a-night-at-the-cir/8906447/","projectTitle":"Come One, Come All to a Night at the Circuits","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McBroom","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8031593"},{"teacherId":9817840,"projectId":8906309,"letterContent":"On behalf of my students and our animation program, I want to express our eagerness and gratitude for your generous donation of our new 3D printer.
