The mini fridge allows us to keep cold water and snacks available for students who may need a quick reset or extra support during the school day. The sports equipment has also been a wonderful addition, giving students opportunities to move, take a brain break, and build positive relationships with their classmates. One of my favorite moments has been watching students come into the classroom, grab a basketball or another piece of equipment, and use movement as a healthy way to reset before getting back to learning.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were incredibly excited! The mini fridge especially caught their attention, and the sports equipment quickly became a favorite. More importantly, students began to understand that these resources were there to help create a classroom where they feel supported, cared for, and ready to learn. It has opened up conversations about taking care of ourselves, managing emotions, and making positive choices.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building these routines into our classroom culture. Students will learn how to appropriately use the equipment for movement breaks and how to access the classroom resources when they need a moment to reset. My goal is for students to know that taking care of their emotional well-being is just as important as their academic growth. I am so grateful to the donors who helped make our classroom a more welcoming, supportive, and student-centered space!","fullyFundedDate":1787088302605,"projectUrl":"project/lets-get-kids-moving/10467711/","projectTitle":"Let’s Get Kids Moving","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lentz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrslentzclassroom"},{"teacherId":3896532,"projectId":10498050,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of my students and our classroom! My students work hard every day to strengthen their reading and writing skills, and these resources will give them an appropriate way to move while staying focused and engaged during our lessons.\r\n\r\nWhat makes your generosity especially meaningful is knowing that others believe in my students and their success. Learning to read can be challenging, and I want my classroom to be a place where students feel comfortable, confident, and excited about the progress they are making. Your support helps me create that kind of environment for them.\r\n\r\nThank you for choosing to invest in my students.
