Your generosity has provided my Prek-students with paper, washable markers, soft pastels, oil Patels, and laminating sheets. We are using these materials for hands-on art, literacy, and early writing activities. Students use paper and markers to draw, practice letters and early writing, and share their ideas through pictures. They also enjoy using the ink pads and pastels to explore colors and immediately wanted to start creating. Their enthusiasm and creativity have made these resources a wonderful addition to our classroom. As we continue the school year, students will use these materials to create artwork, develop their early writing skills, tell stories through drawings and/or orally, and participate in classroom projects. The laminating sheets will also help us to preserve student work and learning materials so they can be used and revisited throughout the year.
