We had been in desperate need of book bags so students could take books home to read without the books getting lost or ruined. The day the book bags arrived, we held a book shopping celebration. Students were allowed to select 3 books to put in their new book bag to take home. The joy and excitement was palpable. My students have been taking books home now for several months and I have to share, that their reading has improved so much. Parents are engaging with their children through meaningful discussions over good books that I am able to send in their language. I cannot express how thankful we are for your gift.
