I am an ATPE member and I believe that my students learn best from their own experiences, and I try to enrich those experiences with field trips, nature walks, books, math activities and science experiments. These students are from a small economically-challenged town, and most qualify for free or reduced lunches. Many of my students speak English as a second language. They are all eager learners, and have so much potential! Let's give them a love of learning!
