In math, folders held practice sheets, reference materials, and completed assignments, allowing students to easily track their progress and revisit strategies when needed. During reading fluency practice, folders helped keep passages and tracking charts in one place, making it simple for students to monitor their improvement over time and set personal goals. This consistent use of folders supported independence and responsibility in managing their own learning materials.\r\n\r\nHeadphone jacks played an important role in supporting individualized learning on iPads, especially during educational games and skill-building apps. By using headphones, students were able to fully engage with audio instructions, phonics activities, and interactive math games without distractions. This created a more focused learning environment where each student could work at their own pace, reinforcing key skills while minimizing noise disruptions in the classroom.\r\n\r\nDry erase markers were also an essential tool used throughout the day for active participation and quick practice. Students used them on whiteboards to solve math problems, practice writing, and respond to prompts during lessons. This allowed for immediate feedback, easy corrections, and encouraged students to take risks without fear of making permanent mistakes. Overall, these tools—folders, headphones, and dry erase markers—helped create an organized, engaging, and interactive classroom environment that supported student learning across subjects.","fullyFundedDate":1769178256996,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-for-scholars/9867707/","projectTitle":"Supplies for Scholars","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kaylee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8511340"},{"teacherId":10341257,"projectId":9926555,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for providing our classroom with a new rug! Before your generosity, our old rug was very small and had been passed down for years. It didn't have enough space for all of my students, which unfortunately meant one student didn't have a spot during our carpet time. When the new rug arrived, my students were so excited. They immediately noticed that everyone had a place to sit, and they loved the bright colors and organized spaces. Seeing every child comfortably gathered together for the first time was such a special moment for our class.\r\n\r\nWe now use our rug every single day for morning meetings, read-alouds, phonics lessons, and whole-group activities. One of my favorite moments was during story time when all of my kindergarteners were able to sit together and participate without feeling crowded or left out. Having a large, welcoming space helps my students stay engaged, focused, and connected as a classroom community.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the year, we will keep using our rug for collaborative learning, partner discussions, and interactive lessons. It has truly become the heart of our classroom where we come together to learn, share ideas, and grow. Thank you for helping create a space where every student feels included and ready to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1766526665981,"projectUrl":"project/the-magic-carpet-for-learning/9926555/","projectTitle":"The Magic Carpet for Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lovell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10341257_orig.jpg?crop=1320,1320,x0,y52&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1763520101552","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10341257"},{"teacherId":10341257,"projectId":9926586,"letterContent":"Two months ago, you generously provided snacks for my kindergarten classroom, and I cannot thank you enough for the difference you have made. Because of you, my students no longer have to worry about going without snack time while their classmates enjoy one. In a Title I school like ours, that small act of kindness makes a big impact. Your donation has helped create a classroom environment where every child feels included, cared for, and supported.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the snacks, I've seen firsthand how something so simple can positively affect my students' days. They are able to focus better, participate more, and feel confident knowing their needs are met. Snack time is no longer a moment of stress or embarrassment for anyone — it's just a happy part of our routine. As a first-year teacher, your support has meant more to me than I can fully express. You have helped me provide for my students in a way I couldn't have done alone.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my classroom and in the well-being of my sweet kindergarteners.
