Lack of funds in many schools make integrating technology somewhat difficult. I am lucky to be on a campus with administrators that encourage, and do their very best to provide as much as possible. However just like anything, it is a process that takes time and money. I would like to have a station of five iPads in my classroom that are accessible everyday. I have attended a well known tech conference called TCEA for the past two years, and collaborated with innovative teachers to learn so many ways iPads can be used in everyday curriculum. Here are just a FEW incredible ways my kids will use these iPads: -Green screen technology to practice oral presentations, and engage in teamwork and collaboration -Documentation and sharing of work through apps that connect with and update parents -Learning how to code with robots (already available in classroom!) -Literacy skills and supporting an interest in reading -Apps that provide support for students with learning disabilities and accommodations I cannot wait to be able to serve and support my students in a time when technology can provide so much!
