It is such a relief not having to worry about having the supplies our students need. Our emergency equipment is up to date and organized, along with our first aid supplies. \r\n\r\nOne of the most needed items, especially at the beginning of the school year is clean underwear. Our littlest students and students who are new to the school are often nervous about asking to use the bathroom in their new environment and tend to have frequent accidents. I love it when everyone has a place at my small group table. The Wobble stools have helped my student focus when my students are working on work, taking tests and quizzes. My students are so excited when we receive these stools and less wiggly when learning. Also thank you for the books that my students love to read. The DJ program has given students something positive and engaging to look forward to, and it's helped them feel more connected and motivated at school.\r\n\r\nThe technology from this DonorsChoose project has given students a hands-on way to learn new skills through music. They're exploring rhythm, timing, and creativity while also learning to work together and stay focused. Many of them don't have access to this type of equipment outside of school, so being able to use professional DJ tools has made the experience especially exciting and meaningful.\r\n\r\nA few students who were initially hesitant or quiet have become more confident through this project. They enjoy showing what they've learned and helping others during practice sessions. Seeing their enthusiasm grow with each class and performance has been rewarding.
