Because of your support, an empty room is being transformed into a warm, welcoming, and flexible environment. The loveseat, chairs, rugs, floor pillows, tables, lamps, and wallpaper are more than just furnishings—they are the foundation of a space where students can feel safe, comfortable, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nMany of my students benefit from calm, predictable environments and having choices in how they work. With this flexible seating, they will have the freedom to find what works best for them—helping to reduce anxiety, improve focus, and foster a sense of belonging. For students who may struggle in traditional classroom settings, this space offers something powerful: the chance to feel understood.\r\n\r\nThis room will also serve as a place for connection and growth. It will allow for meaningful one-on-one conversations with my 8th-grade students as they begin to explore their strengths, interests, and future goals as they prepare for high school. It will also support collaboration with staff, creating opportunities to better serve students through thoughtful planning and instructional coaching.\r\n\r\nMy students are resilient, creative, and full of potential.
