So many were curious about what we had gotten. When I told them it was an easel for the classroom, they were so excited. They saw me put it together and thought I was \"Bob the Builder\".\r\n\r\nI explained to them how DonorsChoose works, how their teacher requested this specific item, and how generous donors contributed to making it happen. I mentioned how we needed a creative way to say thank you using the easel. Usually, the teacher writes on the easel, but this time, they had the honor of tracing their hands on the anchor chart paper. It was so special to see them be so grateful.\r\n\r\nWe loved using the easel for brainstorming, visual definitions, drawing graphs, and even organizing classroom materials. Students were able to use the anchor charts as a reference for what they learned. A classroom easel is exactly what we needed.
